Philippe Bowgen is an actor based in both New York and Los Angeles. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Brown/Trinity Repertory Company and a postgraduate diploma in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). His work can be seen in all mediums - theater, television, and film.

Born and raised on the east coast, Europe, and schooled throughout the world, Philippe's acting has been deemed poised, passionate, and deeply intricate - the New York Times has hailed him as a promising young physical performer.

Philippe's theatrical work has been seen on the New York stage and at many of the largest regional theaters in the country and abroad - The Guthrie, Hartford Stage, McCarter Theater Center, Yale Repertory Theater, The Shakespeare Theater of DC, and Trinity Repertory Company to name a few.  His on camera work is currently being screened at festivals worldwide.

"Doing plays again has just made me a lot happier. So the decision to come [to The Old Globe] was pretty easy. To be around great actors. And I feel I learn from people like Philippe. And it makes me happy."

- Justin Long, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" at The Old Globe, February 2017
